The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Hon. Dr Nadia Arop Dudi, has warned DJs across the country.
While speaking at Music for Peace Concert, an event organized by youth in Juba, Nadia said that DJs playing too many foreign songs risk disciplinary action.
“I have received many complains from our musicians that clubs and radios in Juba are playing too many foreign songs compared to local songs. This is not good for the country’s music industry. I warn those doing to cease or face disciplinary action,” Nadia said.
Nadia words come after numerous musicians in Juba raised concern concerning the way DJs in the country are treating them.
