The team of youngsters conceded all the games they played. The first game against BCC of Thailand ended 4-0 in favour of Thailand’s side. The second game proved more humiliating when the team was beaten 7-0 by FC Seoul.

South Sudan’s football association applauded the teenagers despite poor performance.

“Despite not registering a victory, the players will gain plenty of benefits from competing against some of the world’s top youth teams and will look to achieve victory in future matches,” the association said in a statement.

This was the first time an Under-15 national football was constituted. The team is expected back home this week.
