A 27-year-old man is currently fighting for his life at Juba Teaching Hospital after he was stabbed by a woman he attempted to rape.
The incident happened on Friday in Newsite, Juba.
It is alleged that Deng Mading was leaving a local bar at 8 pm when he bumped into the woman, Angeline who was on her way home.
An inebriated Deng made sexual advances at her before grabbing her hand and pushing her to a nearby thicket.
People closeby heard the woman screaming for help from the local bush and rushed to the scene only to find the man bleeding following the stabbing.
” Angeline used a knife she uses to cut vegetable at the market to stab the man on his right shoulder in self-defense,” an eye-witness stated.
