A woman was arrested after allegedly shooting her husband because he had an affair with another woman at Gudele suburb in Juba.
Sources said that Nyijur was arrested after shooting a bullet into her husband’s private parts while discussing his affair with another woman.
She was booked into the Juba North Prison, awaiting court hearing next week.
According to the police investigation, when her husband who is a soldier came home from work, Nyijur pulled a gun and demanded that he talk about his affair with another woman.
She ordered her husband to sit down and told him that she was going to disfigure him for sharing her “banana” with other women.
She then threatened her husband that she will shoot him in the face and chest. She then proceeded to shoot her husband in his left knee, but the bullet traveled up her thigh and lodged next to his testicles.
