The King of Lokwilili Kingdom,WJ De King today inked a partnership with Save the Children as the Goodwill Ambassador to lead a campaign “GIRLS ARE CHILDREN” in the country.

The campaign which aims to ensure that all socio-economic and cultural barriers that stop young South Sudanese girls from realizing their full potential are systematically dismantled in order to pave ways to success for girls.

The campaign was launched today at Save the Children Office in Hai Malakal, next to the Norwegian Embassy in the morning.

“WJ, in partnership with Save the Children shall embark on a campaign to stop all forms of discrimination against girls in South Sudan. We aim to remove all obstacles and open up ways for an equal opportunities for girls to achieve their dreams in the country,” the statement reads.
