Ugandan based South Sudanese singer Navi Marti was last night attacked and robbed in valuables in Kampala, Uganda by thugs. The up and coming singer who won best new artist in Junubin music awards (SSTYA) in Uganda this year was another singer Bobby Dan who escaped the night ordeal.

According to the singer, the thugs attacked them while they were headed home from a club. He says he tried to fight the thugs but was overwhelmed after his friend Bobby Dan took off to direction and escaped.

He was beaten and his mobile phone and money were taken and left with bruises all over his body.

He shared on social media images of his himself in a torn trouser showing the impact of the attack on him.
