A one time high flying South Sudanese dancehall singer Thiel John better known to his fans as Uncle TJ is rumoured to have quietly returned into the country from Uganda where he has been staying for years.

The singer returned unannounced and opened a phone charging kiosk in Suk Mia Saba in Juba. A source privy to the musician woes told us that TJ first quit social media early this year and decided to live as a private citizen after realizing he was not benefiting from music. Our source also said TJ has quit clubbing and drinking alcohol.

Our source alleged that TJ is only found charging phones in his small kiosk in Mia Saba. “You can’t recognise TJ, he shaved his locks and has added weight. His new life is treating him well,” the source said
