President Salva Kiir Mayardit, sacked deputy information and communications minister Akol Paul Kordit this week.

The decree gave no reason for the removal of Akol who was appointed in April 2016.  But Akol’s sacking coincided with a letter he allegedly wrote to the information minister Michael Makuei in which he said the level of mismanagement and corruption has reached an intolerable stage in the information ministry.

We managed to find the letter that got him fired.
