Two of SSTV’s prestigious English News anchors tied a knot in a traditional wedding on Saturday at Nyakuron Cultural Center in Juba.

Garang John, former host of the “Agenda” Program on SSTV, and Paleki Mathews, former Tusker Project Fame contestant and current Executive Director of South Sudan Women Empowerment Network got married over the weekend -the “Chollo-style”.

Paleki, who is Shilluk, ensured Garang honored her community by dressing everyone in an all “laau” and traditionally decorated bed-covers tied around all men of the occasion.

The couple has been dating for over 3 years now, and not even the economic crisis could stop them from getting some wedding happening.
