South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC) will move into this state of the art studio by the beginning of 2023. This was revealed early this morning by the Chinese Ambassador to South Sudan His Excellency MA Qiang during a routine inspection of the project in Juba.

“We are glad to be part of the aid project to South Sudan’s peace and development as this can enhance the mutual understanding among various regions and ethnic groups. It can also enrich people’s cultural life, and facilitate the communication between South Sudan and the rest of the world”, Amb. MA said.
The project provides modern broadcasting and TV facilities including virtual studios which is expected to improve SSBC’s production capacity.
The ambassador added that once in use, the project has the capacity to support 5 channels for national SSBC stations and 20 channels for private TV operations, covering remote areas of the country.
