SPLA Military Court Martial has sentenced one soldier to death and dishonorably dismissed 20 officers from the army for committing war crimes including, murder, rape, loss of riffles and random shooting.

The soldiers who were dismissed also face a prison sentence ranging from one to seven years imprisonment.
