Tito Yak Kuol, a South Sudanese student in Kenya from Alliance High School is among the top in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examinations. He was ranked among the top in the nationwide exams whose results were announced few days ago.

He scored mean score of 84  getting a clean “A”.

Kuol Tito Yak who comes from a family of 7 was born in Warrap State, Akop County in South Sudan. He fled his country by then the Republic of the Sudan with the help of the United Nations High Commission of Refugees to Kenya’s refugee camp at Kakuma in search of peace, education and shelter. Tito later moved to Kawangware, a sprawling estate in Nairobi where he currently lives with his brothers and cousins who have been a great inspiration to him.

Four years ago, he was ranked number 4 out of over 776,214 pupils in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education with 440 marks which got him  scholarship to study at prestige Secondary school in Kenya, Alliance High School.
