South Sudanese pound strengthens against U.S. dollar after return to 10 states
The South Sudanese Pound is gaining strength against the United States Dollar (USD) currency.
“The Dollar is losing momentum against the [South Sudanese] Pound. Since two months ago, there has been a decline from the Dollar strength,” the source told the HiJ from Juba Market.
The new development has been attributed to President Salva Kiir’s announcement to return the world’s youngest nation to its original ten states.
