One of South Sudan’s brightest young stars Martin Sawi has officially signed for South Korean club Goyang FC, who are competing in the K3 League.

The 18-year-old attacking midfielder moved to South Korea in 2016 alongside fellow South Sudanese youngster Emmanuel Mark as part of a program organised by the South Korean Sports Mission in South Sudan. He had previously played under former national team coach Bilal Felix at the Young Stars Academy and had been identified as a unique talent with the potential to become one of South Sudan’s top players.

With South Korea having a world-class youth football development program, Martin will able to further his career in an elite environment and the future is very bright for this exciting talent!
