Upcoming South Sudanese musician King of Nation was brutally attacked by thugs in Uganda’s capital Kampala. The artist sustained injuries when thieves descended on him with kicks and blows early this month. Those who were with him at the time of the attack escaped with minor injuries.

According to musician S-Bizzy who is a friend to King of Nation, the attack happened when King of Nation was coming back home from having a supper at a nearby restaurant.

“He went to buy supper with D Boss and some brothers of his when he was attacked by 6 men. He was beaten by thugs around midnight on his way home, they took everything he had,” he said.

“This wasn’t the first time, those thugs attack South Sudanese everyday just that some get lucky. They believe South Sudanese in Munyonyo are rich and having nice gadgets, like phones, tabs or laptops and money.” He continued.

He suffered fractured arm. X-ray pictures seen by Hot in Juba show the musician’s right arm is broken twice. He was hospitalised and currently recuperating at home according to S-Bizzy.

“He was rushed to Nsambya hospital but due to congestion he wasn’t given attention, so the father had to hire a doctor who is working on him at home and the doctor said in 4 weeks bye will be fine.” Said S-Bizzy.
