Team Kebir Entertainment company is seen to hit the limelight starting next year as it is set to sign a new contingent of musicians and comedians that will see them agree to signing a one-year contract.
Team Kebir was started by South Sudan number one comedian Feel Free. It was established in January 2018 after Feel Free left Kilkinu Ana comedy show where he starred as a comedian.
The musicians will be signed in a ceremony to be held on December 25th, 2018 while comedians will see themselves signed on January 1st, 2019 at the Nyakuron Cultural Centre. The event dubbed “Team Kebir X-Mass Comedy Feast will be held from 2PM to 8PM with the entry fee being set at 500 SSP.
Signing the contract will see the artists enjoy many advantages working under the entertainment label including free video and audio recordings among others. They will also be managed and marketed by the company which as well will have the responsibility if getting them gigs.
Among the music artists signed are YMO, J. Yang, Emma Love and Mc. Remz. In the comedians category we will have Comedians Ziko, Daniel 400kg, Wad Al-Asima, Kon Kuol Kon and Lotole.
Speaking to Hot in Juba, the king of comedy added that the objective of coming up with such is to promote talented South Sudanese musicians and comedians and help them grow in the entertainment industry.
“The company has seen potential and talent in them and is ready to reach for their expectations as to build it up for them,” he said.
Team Kebir Comedy Show is held every Tuesday at Nyakuron Cultural Centre from 4PM to 8PM. The entertainment label also produces music videos, drama films and documentary events among others.
Philip Omon Bartholomeo (Feel Free), commonly referred to as South Sudan’s king of comedy, is a multi-talented artist, comedian and entrepreneur. He started doing stand-up comedy way back in 2013 before he established Team Kebir Entertainment Company in January 2018.
