South Sudan will be playing against Sudan for the first time in their history in this year’s CECAFA Cup in Ethiopia.

The Bright Stars have been drawn into a tough group with Sudan, Rwanda and Zanzibar. After participating in the 2012 & 2013 tournaments and failing to register a point, the national team is now at the strongest point in their history and are expected to achieve some positive results against their East African rivals.
