The latest FIFA men’s football rankings are out and South Sudan has taken a huge leap of 45 places and move to 154. South Sudan’s recent home 6-0 win against Djibouti in Juba saw them gather 318.75 points.
They are now 154 points. South Sudan is tied on the 154 with Sudan, but are the best movers compared to Sudan.
Brazil moves to the top of the charts after seven years overtaking arch-rivals Argentina. Their recent form in the international friendlies and FIFA World Cup 2018 qualifiers have helped them to go at the top.
South Sudan made it to Fifa’s world rankings for the first time in 2012 after playing their inaugural full international in the same year.
