Police in Kapoeta town has arrested a woman reported to have chopped off the private parts of a man on Tuesday.

Samuel Madel, the Police officer in charge of crimes in Kapoeta said that the 26-year-old woman identified as Maneno Chandiru, who works as a sex worker in the town used a kitchen knife to commit the crime after a disagreement over payment.

“The woman told us that she agreed with the man identified as Paul Sebit to spend seven days and night for a payment of 4,500 SSP,” Madel said.

The law enforcement official confirmed that the woman is now under police custody and investigations are ongoing while the 41-year-old man fights for his life at a hospital in the town.
