Sebit William, Miraya FM’s morning presenter got a chance to represent South Sudan this week at the ‘One Young World’ Summit in Bangkok, Thailand.

The 4 days summit brought together brightest young people from around the world to discuss common issues affecting their country and the globe.

Sebit William had a chance to fly South Sudan’s flag in front of 196 countries represented by hundreds of young people, global entrepreneurs, NGO representatives and prominent world leaders like Koffi Annan.

Mr. Sebit also made presentations on the challenges of Africa newest country in series of debates with delegates in the studio. The aim was to formulate and share innovative solutions to pressing issues the world is facing.

His presentation was on climate change and how it is affecting the young country through famine, droughts and floods.

The One World Summit ended over the weekend, and Sebit William is now official a “One World Ambassador” in South Sudan.
