Is Alek calling it quit after one year of marriage? Well, this week Alek Aguer popularly known as Aleko, the founder and director of the brand new women magazine in Juba hinted at a divorce in her Facebook post. The post which elicited a lot of reactions and questions from her followers was swiftly deleted but not before we screenshot it. [See the screenshot of her post at the end of this article]

Aleko got married to a national security officer whose father is said to be an army general in 2013 and they have a one year old son.

Alek’s monthly Real Women Magazine is on its third edition since it was launched in February this year. The magazine is the widely circulated monthly magazine in the whole of South Sudan.

Alek was the editor in chief of the now collapsed SHE Magazine.
