President Salva Kiir Mayardit has directed the staffs at the Office of the President and the general public to welcome members of the opposition with an open heart as brothers and sisters at home.

Kiir made the remark on Monday morning at the State House while briefing the staffs during an event organized by the Department of Special Program and Public Relations in the Office of the President.

He called on all public sector employees and all the sectors of society to avoid hostile statements and hate speech with opposition members who will come to Juba soon to implement the peace agreement in the Country.

The President said that he agreed to the proposal of five Vice-Presidents, and increase the number of the Parliamentarians to five hundred and fifty members in order to stabilize the Country and end the suffering of the people of South Sudan.

The president said that peace needs sacrifices as well as the war.
