The national ministry of Education, Science and Technology has just recently launched its website in order to ease access to information in the education sector in the country. Hon. Minister John Gai Yoah has said soon examination results will be accessed through the website.

Hot in Juba has learned that it costed the government over 100,000 SSP (31,000+ USD) to get the website up and running. However South Sudanese web designers and developers have termed the cost of the ministry’s website a “rip off”. The developers argue that the cost was too high for the kind of work done on the website.

Hot in Juba’s John Masura, who is also a website developed said “the cost was too high for this kind of basic website”.

The website “www.moest-ss.com” was developed and designed by a Kenyan owned company base in Juba, Dynamic Consult Company.
