News reaching HIJ desk alleged that the proposed concert of Congolese Veteran musician, Koffi Olomide is cancelled after massive advertising campaign launch by the organisers.
“.. We regret to inform the general public that the shdeuled music festival by the African Superstar, Koffi Olomide would not take palce as sheduled on the 03 of April 2016”, state a press release by the organiser
At a press conference today at Juba Raha Hotel the organizers cites logistics hurdles as the reason for the cancellation of the event.

“Despite the massive preparation and arrangement for this event, the company was encumbered by some logistic hurdles related to the hiring and transportation of sophisticated equipment from neighbouring country”.
While anonymous source cites different reasons to why the concert was cancelled
” After the news emerged on social media and the way people took the news and the condemnation from the public.. some people even were asking for the boycott of the show, so they concluded it was a good idea to cancel the show all together”, said the anonymous source.
Bul Cornelio Koryom, a son of Central Bank Governor, his “groups” in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth allegedly spent a whopping 1.5 million dollars to get veteran Congolese musician Koffi Olomide to perform in Juba for a day.
