Social media users and musicians received the news with mixed reactions. Popular singer Mary Boyoi a one-time rival and friend to Queen urged for fair trial into her case.
“I want to appeal to my colleagues in music and journalists in our country to push Queen Zee’s case to be taken to court”, Mary said in a statement.
“How come she became guilty before she is taken to court?”, she asked.
She shared her pics with Queen Zee during their last performance in Lakes State. She also talked about her past beef with Queen but added it was just a musical competition which is healthy in music industry.
“The last time I shared stage with her was in Lakes State”, she said.
“I know I used to compete with her but she is my colleague and music is very healthy competition u don’t wish someone bad”. She said.
Another musician who voiced his concerns about Queen Zee is Eye Radio’s ‘Promising Artist of the Year 2015’, Emma 47 who said artists should unite and give Queen Zee support.
