In a show of solidarity, a group of South Sudanese celebrities visited Juba Teaching Hospital on Firday to donate blood for victims of the last week Maridi fuel tanker explosion.

The musicians led by MC Lumoex and MB Law and Rhapsody of United Kings also visited the burnt patients who were airlifted to Juba from Maridi for treatment.

Over 200 people were killed and more than 180 injured in Maridi, Western Equatoria when an overturned fuel truck exploded while locals were siphoning the petrol from it.

South Sudan Red Cross has called on public to donate blood for victims of the tragedy who are in dire need of the blood.
