South Sudanese Reggae artist Jimmy Bob also known as Rasta Jimmy Bob has died in Khartoum, Sudan on Sunday.
According to radio presenter Moro Lokombu who paid tribute to the deceased singer on his radio show The Beat on Miraya FM this afternoon, Jimmy was taken to Khartoum for specialised treatment after falling ill in Juba.
It remains unclear what illness caused the singer’s death. Moro couldn’t indulge into details leading to the elderly singer’s death.
Rasta Jimmy is known for his 2010 tribute song to John Garang titled “Remember That Saturday”. His another popular song was “Nadoki”.
