Juba based dancehall artist, Pur Nhial better known to his music fans as PNC Stunaz has been arrested by the police over the weekend for allegedly robbing a shop at Suk Wewe in Thongping.

The police raided his house in Thongping and found guns, police uniforms, machetes and tools for breaking doors and safes.

He was among many other suspected armed criminals who were rounded up as security forces move to stem the insecurity menace in the city.

According to our sources the singer and other suspected thugs arrested during the police raids in several city neighbourhoods are going to be arraigned in court soon to answer to robbery charges.

The cases of armed robberies and killing by unknown gun men have been on the rise in Juba in the past few days.
