Singer Meen Mabor of Coozos Clan popularly known Menimen is sued by Andy Audio Equipment, a PA sound system rental company in Juba.

The company says Menimen and his Kenyan business associate Evans Maendeh hired the sound system for Independence Day event last July but they never cleared the balance.

“We are suing Evans Maendeh and Meen Mabor of Coozos Clan for balance of $11500 for LED screens used for independence celebration this year 9th July and SSP2000 balance for the VIP sound stands ,” the company said in a statement seen by HIJ.

The company says it resorted to legal settlement of the matter after several attempts to persuade the two men to pay the balance voluntarily failed.

The court has issued a summon for Evans and Menimen late September but they failed to appear in court without giving any reasons.

The court date was pushed to 6th October which they eventually attended according to the a representative of Andy Audio Equipment.

Again another court hearing was set for 14th October but the duo failed to show up in court. It is not clear whether the two are going to be charged for the contempt of the court after dishonoring court summon many times.

Our attempts to seek a comment from both Menimen and Evans Maendeh were fruitless after our phone calls went unanswered.
