South Sudan Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture on 27th November awarded 35 Small Medium Enterprises with Business Excellence Awards in a bid to promote quality assurance and excellence in business.

This year’s achievers were categorized in platinum, gold, silver and bronze awards which went to the companies that have excelled in providing high quality services and products to the public. The business excellence awards were started in 2014.

Among the biggest winners, MTN scooped the best Internet provider and the best Telecommunication Company of the year.

South Sudan Beverages Limited (SSBL) won the best manufacturer, Equity Bank the best bank and Golden Wings the best airline of the year respectively.

Meanwhile other big winners included Kenya Commercial Bank for best credit provider, Amin Akasha business person of the year, Juba Medical Complex best private hospital, Savanah Insurance the best insurance and Lukak best general suppliers.

UAP Insurance won gold in the best Assets & Corporate Investment and MTN was prized the best mobile internet provider.

Also in the category of bronze, City FM claimed the best commercial radio, Bilpam Communications, the best internet provider, SSBL the best beer brand and Antipas Pharmacy the best pharmaceutical company.
