Morocco signed an agreement yesterday with South Sudan to finance and build the proposed new capital city of the country, Ramciel.
The announcement was made yesterday when Morocco’s King Mohammed VI was in the country on a visit aimed at strengthening economic and political ties.
King Mohammed VI signed bilateral agreement with the government to build the proposed Ramciel City,Government official told hot in Juba.
The King will finance the construction, survey and all related things related to making Ramciel City a reality.
Upon his arrival to South Sudan, the King who was received by Salva Kiir Mayardit sign several biletaral agreement with the government of Junub Sudan.
Ramciel located in Lakes was proposed in 2011 that it will serve as the future site of the national capital. John Garang allegedly wanted to place the national capital in Ramciel during his administration, but the project was put on hold due to financial constraints.
