Huge amount of money of over half million SSP is reported missing from a safe in the Ministry of Foreign affairss

The ministry is the latest victim of such scenarios which is common in the government institutions including the office of the president after over half million SSP just disappeared recently.

“The money was kept in the office as the independence allowances to cater for staff and invited diplomats during the independence day celebrations among others”, said the anonymous source.

It is surprising that there was no break-in reported since no lock was broken or any sign of a burglary. The police is investigating the case and no arrests have been made yet.

Cases of theft have recently surged up in Juba especially where huge sum of money would go missing from offices. Early this year a huge sum of money was reported missing in police headquarters in Buluk, SPLA headquarters Bilpham among other institutions.
