Former Miss World South Sudan, Ms. Ajak Kiir is set and ready to raise funding tomorrow at a runway show dubbed ‘Runway for Sanitary pads.’

The beauty show will take place on tomorrow 1st of July 2017 at Home and Away from 5pm-11pm. The outdoor event will showcase South Sudanese designer’s outfit made by fashion designers such as Stella and Doris who will dress South Sudanese finest models in Juba.

‘Runway for Sanitary pads’  aims raise funds to buy sanitary towels, soap and pants for the vulnerable school going girls who cannot afford the above mentioned.

“The aim of Runway for Sanitary Pads is to keep the school going girls in school all days of the school calendar without them missing school due to lack of sanitary pads, soap and pants to keep them clean and fresh at school,” the press release read.

The show will be graced by entertainment from South Sudanese musicians such as hard life Avenue stars, Trisha C, Tutu Baibe, Comedian Wokili, United Kings and South Sudan Dancers crew; Stella Loki and M.c Izo shall host the show.

Minister of Health, Minister of General Education, Minister of Gender and experts from government, international and national NGOS will be at the event to answer health-related questions as they talk more about Fistula.

The fund raised will help Girls at  Gaida Girls primary school, a school in Gumbo and some will be taken to the displaced women along Airport road and the rest shall be taken to Jongole state.
