On Monday the reigning Miss World South Sudan Ajah Kiir paid a brief visit to the baby girl who survived a cargo plane crash that killed around 37 people last week at Chinese Friendship Hospital in Juba, Talk of Juba has reported.
The beauty queen during the visit said she was saddened by the air accident and decided to visit the little girl and the other survivor of the plane crash at the hospital.
“That was God’s plan. It was an accident as we call it. I wish you a quick recovery, God loves you and will always be there for you,” said Miss Kiir to little Nyalok Tong while handing over some gifts to the baby girl at the hospital.
The father of the child together with the other relatives thanked her for the visit.
“If you girl grow up, I pray for you that one day you would be a Miss world South Sudan like me and take over the world crown from anybody after me to represent South Sudan in the future,” Ajah Kiir said while removing her crown to put it on the young girl’s head to symbolize her excellence in future.
According to one of the baby’s relatives, the baby’s condition is now improving compared to the first days when she arrived at the hospital.
“The message that I can pass to the people outside there is that the baby is fine and getting well and we should always pray for her,” Ajah Kiir told the media.
