The talk on social media right now is about Bruce Jenner (now Caitlyn) who just changed his sex to female but and now meet our own Achan known to friends as the first open South Sudanese transgender female. She transformed from being a man to a woman standing at 6’9 feet tall.
Known on social media as Layla Kingston, Chan was born in Libya to South Sudanese parents and at the age of 20 she decided go through a surgery and hormone therapy to become a woman. She is now called Achan, after which close friends and family ridiculed her.
Layla who currently lives in Erie, Penselvenia (United States) is having a Kawaja boyfriend.
When contacted by Hot in Juba Achan said. “I was contemplating suicide after changing my sex to female… for some reasons Beyonce’s music got me out of it ..and that’s when I decided why kill myself just be who you want to be, especially being a Dinka Bor person”.

Achan thanks her mother for being supportive of her decisions of becoming a woman, she recently posted a video on Facebook where her mother asked all the women to be supportive of their kids. Her mother said she was still struggling calling Achan a HE instead of SHE which suggest she still look at Achan as a son.
The transformation usually costs around $10,000 – $50,000.
