A Malawian pastor, who refers to himself as “Prophet Shepherd Bushiri”, has taken to social media to flaunt his newly-acquired jet estimated to cost $37m .

The pastor couldn’t hide his excitement after acquiring a personal jet, whose photos he shared with his 400,000 plus followers on Facebook.

“I am what God says I am. I was a born winner,” Bushiri was quoted as saying by Malawi’s Nyasa Times.

Bushiri visited Juba last year and pledged to invest $6 billion in agriculture. He visited VP Wani farm in Lobonok. He was accorded a presidential security detail during his stay in South Sudan and even flew to Wani’s farm in military helicopter (see pics below).

Pastor Bushiri is understood to be one of the richest men in Malawi. He recently revealed plans of opening a bank and mobile company in South Africa, where he is currently based.

Bushiri joins the list of flamboyant African pastors who seem keen on displaying their lavish lifestyles on social media.
