Bright Stars interim coach Bilal Felix has named a 24-man squad that will do duty against Burundi in an Afcon qualifier.He has given more chance to locally based players in the squad to face Burundi and it might bring positive results in an away game against Burundi on 10th of this month in Bujumbura, Burundi.

Out of the 24 men squad, 15 are locally base players.

South Sudan Qualified for the group stages of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers after beating Djibouti 6-0 in Juba in March this year.

The march against Burundi will inspire Bright Stars hope of representing South Sudan for the first time in the 2019 African Cup of Nations.
