President Salva Kiir Mayardit has this morning left for Kampala, Uganda in a company of various high ranking cabinet minister. Speaking to press at Juba International Airport, the minister in the office of the president Mayiik Ayii said the President is going to discuss with Ugandan President, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni issues of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Mayiik added that the two presidents will also discuss regional issues, among them the army-warm outbreak which is destroying crops in the region including some parts of South Sudan. Mayiik said President Kiir is also going to extend his appreciation to President Museveni for his support and participation during the launching and swearing in of the steering committee of the National Dialogue.
The president is accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Kuol Manyang Juuk, Minister of Wild Conservation and SPLM Acting Secretary, Jema Nunu Kumba and the Minister in the office of the President, Mayiik Ayii Deng among other officials.
