Police have arrested a Kenyan woman over illegal bottling and selling of spirit to unsuspecting customers in Juba.
The woman was after at her apartment she turned into a factory brewing Whisky Gin. The police found brewing apparatus, drum, and ethanol in the house.
According to the police report, the woman has been in business for the past three years and allegedly the counterfeit drinks produced by the woman has led to numerous death in the country.
Juba City council has requested South Sudan Bureau of Standard to check if the liquor is good for human consumption.
Recently, a man died after drinking seven bottles of Ugandan Waragi commonly sold in Juba.
