Kenyan opposition party, NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga has withdrawn from the October 26 repeat polls as scheduled by the IEBC.

Odinga has asked the electoral body to call for fresh elections.

The former Prime Minister has maintained that he will not be party to the fresh elections should the commission’s CEO Ezra Chiloba and the secretariat not leave office.

The opposition has over the past few weeks said that ‘no reforms, no elections’ with reference to the irreducible minimum demands presented to the commission.

Speaking to Citizen Tv on Sunday, Leader of Majority in the Senate, Kipchumba Murkomen said that Odinga was going to withdraw from the race, latest Wednesday.

He stated that the ODM party leader’s move was meant to cause chaos in the country, a move they (Jubilee) are ready to counter.
