Kenyan Ministry of Foreign Affair and State Department for Interior has ordered a speedy release of all South Sudanese under police custody in Kenya.
Kenyan Government official met with officials from South Sudan embassy in Kenya on Friday and agreed on a solution that will sees all South Sudanese under police custody released.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Department for Interior have agreed with the Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan on a solution to cause the expeditious release from Police Custody of all identified South Sudan nationals who were found without proper documentation

The crack down on South Sudan in Kenya started when Kenyan ordered arrest and deportation of undocumented migrants in Kenya.
The exercise led to arrest of over 700 South Sudanese in major towns in Kenya.
