South Sudanese students in Indian are issued notice by a university in India to pay or risk being sent home.
A University in India, Gurunanak has issued a stern warning to the government-sponsored students to pay the semester fee before mid or March or the will be send parking.
While speaking to a rep of the student who preferred anonymity said the situation is critical and he urges the government to act swiftly or they will be forced to camp at the South Sudan embassy in India.
The government of South Sudan has had issues recently with paying it sponsored students in various universities in Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, India and many other countries.
Recently, the students in Zimbabwe stormed South Sudan embassy in Zimbabwe after they were expelled for not paying the semester’s fee.
