Aluel Bol may have inspired many South Sudanese young girls who are working hard to become career women when she made history to become the first ever South Sudanese woman pilot.

Former Miss Malaika Josephine Awien who is now married and has a child with a Kenyan man in Nairobi might just be the second South Sudanese female pilot if her recent Facebook pics are anything to go by. In a selfie shared on FB Awien is dressed in a airline pilot shirt.

Sources tell Hot in Juba the former model is studying to become a pilot in one of Kenya’s aviation schools in Nairobi.
