A fierce fighting last night among South Sudanese refugees in Kakuma Refugee Camp located in Turkana County, Kenya has left at least four people dead.

It’s alleged that, the fighting was among two rival Nuer clans.

A source in the camp told HIJ that the fight started at a football match between two Nuer’s clan before it spread to the community.
“The fighting started at a football match between two Nuer clan: Dok and Jikany,” the source said.

The source said the situation is still tensed although the Kenyan Police has contained the situation.

“The police is heavily deployed in the area and the situation is still tense,” Thr source said.
