“I regret being South Sudanese,” musician Rhapsody after military police robbed him

Singer Rhapsody, the one half of the United Kings music crew is an angry man after a rough encounter with ruthless South Sudanese military police officers patrolling the city’s streets on Tuesday night.

The singer told HIJ that he was beaten and robbed his valuables by the soldiers. He even suggested that he would rather change his nationality to any other peaceful country than living in an oppressive country like South Sudan.

“Walai am going to change my nationality n go live in any country than living in my country n be treated like this by military police,” the musician said.

“They attacked me yesterday at Casablanca n beat me up. They took my silver chain, my silver watch n my money”

“Is this security or robbery in South Sudan,” he posed a question.

The singer together with MB Law are the members of United Kings, one of the high riding music crews in the country right now.
