A middle age man left to guard a two storey government building under construction has died after he fell from unfinished building’s first floor at night in Warrap state’s capital Kuajok last month.

According to authorities in Kuajok the man was sleeping on the top of unfinished building when the incident happened.

A colleague who was sleeping with Mr. Akol confirmed he had woken up in the middle of the dark night and tried to walk distances to go pee thinking he was sleeping on the floor.

“He woke up at night to go urinate. He thought he was not sleeping on the first floor of the building so he wanted to walk a few distances away to relieve himself. He didn’t not realize he was on first floor of amara since it was dark and that’s how he fell down and died of injuries on his neck,” a source told HIJ in Kuajok town.
