The Administration of Hope and Resurrection Secondary school in Atiaba county, Western Lakes state says the school will remain closed for two weeks, following the killing of two Ugandan teachers.
The school had initially said it would close for two days to mourn the death of Charles Kule and William Binissima, both Ugandan nationals, who were gunned down in a road ambush on Sunday.
The founder of the school, Mabor Marial told media that the teachers, many of them Ugandans, need more time to recover from the incident.
Mabor Marial says the bodies of the two teachers will be laid to rest today in their home town of Kasese in Western Uganda.
