The man who killed a lactating mother and her baby, Rel Chiith has been killed by firing squad, reports from Rumbek East allege.
Reports have alleged that the execution was ordered by no-nonsense-governor of Lakes State, Rin Tueny Mabor who is yet to arrive in the state since his appointment last week as the new governor of violence-ridden Lakes State.
It’s alleged that the governor ordered Rumbek East Commissioner, Mapuor Malek to execute the man, a claim Hot in Juba could not independently verify.
Two days ago, Rel Chiith shot dead a lactating mother and her newborn at Pacong Payam in Rumbek East County, Lakes State.
According to media reports, Rel entered into the house of Nyatir Mapour and fired her, killing and her breastfeeding baby.
