Jubek State government has banned all the night clubs, bars and night music shows in Juba City. This was revealed during a meeting between President Salva Kiir and the Jubek State Governor Augustino Jadalla Wani at the State House on Saturday.

Governor Augustino Jadalla Wani said, due to immoral acts being carried out at the night bars, the state government has issued gubernatorial decree to cease the operation of the night clubs in the state. He said the move was to combat child prostitution and drunkenness.

Governor Jadalla also told he press his government has passed a law requiring anyone seeking accommodation in company of a girl or a woman to produce a marriage certificate. He said his government has recommended the law to be nationalised.

Governor Jadalla added that he briefed President Salva Kiir on the incident of wonduruba were the commissioner and three of his guards died from a landmine explosion.
