Gbudue state’s government have banned burials in residential areas.
“The traditional practice is eating into land meant for development. The public should use cemeteries,” State Ministry of Physical Infrastructure, Clement Baime said.
According to government officials in the ministry, the residents in Juba are burying the dead on lands meant for investors.
“It’s a practice in Juba! people are burying their loved one is public land and this brings problem whenever we get investor,” source said.
